the reboul family
Unscripted. Authentic. Real. This is our story.
Hello.
If you’re reading this, it means our story has found its way into your hands — and for that, we’re truly grateful. We know you’ve made an incredibly brave and loving decision in exploring adoption, and we deeply respect the strength it takes to do so. We’re Danny and Trisha Reboul, and our story is built on love, faith, and family — the kind that shows up, sticks together, and opens its heart wide.
We live in the heart of Louisiana surrounded by family, friends, and a close-knit community that believes in helping one another and celebrating life’s little moments. We’ve raised an amazing family and built a life rooted in connection, laughter, and purpose. Now, our hearts are open again. Adoption, for us, isn’t just about growing our family — it’s about sharing the love and stability we’ve built with a child who will always know they are chosen, cherished, and loved beyond measure.
As you read our profile, we hope you’ll feel the heart behind our story — not just what we’ve built, but who we are. Thank you for taking the time to learn about us and for the courage you show each day on your journey. We pray you feel peace, comfort, and hope as you consider the beautiful and brave path ahead.
With love and gratitude,
Danny & Trisha
why adoption?
For as long as we can remember, family has been at the center of everything we do. We’ve built a life surrounded by love — raising our kids, welcoming grandchildren, and filling our home with laughter, memories, and love. But even with all of that, there’s always been this quiet feeling deep in our hearts that our story isn’t finished yet.
Then recently, we had the blessing of caring for a baby girl. From the very first moment we held her, something shifted inside us. The love we felt was instant — it reminded us of all the reasons we became parents in the first place. Letting her go was one of the hardest things we’ve ever done, but it also revealed something powerful: our hearts still have room to love another child.
We’ve prayed about this for a long time. Adoption isn’t a quick or easy decision — it’s a calling. And now, in this season of life, with our children grown and a strong foundation beneath us, we feel a deep peace that this is exactly where we’re meant to be.
To us, adoption is one of the purest forms of love — a bridge built between two families by faith, courage, and hope. We don’t take that lightly. We promise to honor the love and sacrifice that make this journey possible, and to give a child a home overflowing with stability, laughter, and unconditional love. Our hearts are ready. Our family is ready.
And we believe — with everything in us — that love will lead the way.
our story…
More than anything, I wish I could say I’ve had the perfect life — but that’s not reality, and that’s not who I am. I truly believe that every single thing I’ve been through has shaped me into the woman I am today, and that’s why I want to be completely honest about our story.
I was a teenage mom who thought marriage would lead to a happily-ever-after. But that wasn’t my reality. I found myself living in horrific physical, mental, and emotional abuse — too scared to ask for help and surviving on prayers alone. I remember holding my baby, crying, and promising him that if we made it out, I would do everything in my power to protect him and give him the life he deserved.
One day, I finally found the courage to leave. I filled his diaper bag with diapers, wipes, and formula, layered us both in clothes, and walked away with nothing but faith. I sold the jewelry I had on to cover one month of rent and deposits. My son slept in his infant seat, and I slept on the carpet — we had nothing, but we had each other.
I worked any job I could find — cleaning houses, running errands — anything to keep food on the table. Money was tight, but love was never lacking. When the court demanded I give his biological father visitation, the abuse continued, even under supervision, until my son was severely injured. The visits were stopped while we waited for future court dates.
During that time, I met Danny. He was a single father to two beautiful girls who instantly captured my heart. He was also facing his own challenges with his ex-wife, the girls’ mother. I knew those girls needed love and stability — and that’s exactly what we gave them. When our youngest, Carter, came along, he completed our family and filled our hearts with pure love. We never saw our family as his or mine — it was always ours.
On August 26, 2013, our lives changed forever — Danny officially adopted Brock. I wish I had the perfect words to describe what I felt that day, but nothing could capture it completely. It was peace, gratitude, and overwhelming love all at once. For so many years, I had carried the weight of fear and survival. That day, I could finally exhale — knowing my son was home, protected, and loved beyond measure.
After Brock’s adoption, life began to settle into a new rhythm for our family. But like many blended families, our journey came with both joys and challenges. Together, we supported one another through the realities of co-parenting and walked beside our daughters as they faced the impact of having a parent struggle with addiction. Through love, patience, and faith, we worked hard to create a home that felt safe, steady, and full of hope. Over time, Danny and I were granted custody of the girls, and our bond as a family only grew stronger. We’ve continued to encourage a positive connection with their mom whenever possible, always hoping for her healing and peace. Through it all, our family has remained strong — grounded in love, grace, and the unshakable belief that families are built not by circumstance, but by commitment and heart.
Today, Emma is 26, married to Kale, and an amazing mother to our three grandchildren: Kullen, Laiklyn, and Hadlee. Natalie is 23, a college student living on her own little farm with her longtime boyfriend, Terry. Brock proudly serves as a United States Marine and was recently nominated for Marine of the Year. And Carter, our youngest, is still at home finishing high school — our last little piece of the nest before it’s empty.
Our life has been far from perfect, but it’s ours — built on faith, resilience, and unconditional love. Every one of us has beaten the odds and proven the power of love and second chances.
Looking back, we realize every twist and turn in our story was preparing us for this moment. We’ve learned that family isn’t defined by blood — it’s defined by love, resilience, and showing up every single day. Adoption feels like the natural continuation of our journey — a chance to share our love, our home, and the strength of our family with a child who deserves a lifetime of belonging.
meet our crew…
Emma & Kale
Emma is the definition of a super mom — juggling a full-time job in the medical field while keeping up with three little ones, this girl never misses a beat. She has the biggest heart, always thoughtful, kind, and ready to help anyone in need. Her husband, Kale, is steady, caring, and completely devoted to his family. He works in the oil industry — he’s hardworking, loyal, and always finds a way to make everyone laugh. Together, Emma and Kale make an amazing team — their home is filled with love, laughter, and a whole lot of energy.
Kullen Joseph
Kullen is always up for an adventure — all boy through and through. He loves being outside, hunting, fishing, playing sports, and digging in the dirt. Whether he’s racing across the yard, climbing trees, or making everyone laugh with his silly dances, his energy is contagious. But underneath all that fun, he has the sweetest heart — giving the best hugs, always wanting to lend a hand, and caring deeply for those around him.
Laiklyn Reese
Laiklyn is full of sass, sparkle, and sunshine. She’s fearless, funny, and always the first to make sure everyone knows she’s the boss — in the most lovable way. Whether she’s dancing barefoot, singing at the top of her lungs, or twirling in a tutu, her big personality shines in every moment. And yet, her heart is even bigger — she’s the kind of little girl who can steal the show and melt your heart all at once.
Hadlee Blake
Hadlee is our cuddle bug — gentle, loving, and full of pure sweetness. She has the softest little heart, whether she’s snuggled up in someone’s arms or dancing to any beat. She loves to give cuddles, hugs, and kisses, and her loving nature shines in everything she does. Hadlee has a way of making everything feel softer and more peaceful — with her gentle touch, warm smiles, and the kind of love that makes you feel right at home.
Natalie & Terry
Natalie is full of life with a heart of gold. Her love for animals and the outdoors is endless, and she finds happiness and adventure in every season. Whether she’s decorating for the holidays or taking on a new project around the house, her determination and creativity always make it a success. Terry is her perfect balance — he has a kind heart and an easygoing personality. Together, they complement each other beautifully — her enthusiasm and energy blend seamlessly with his calm and steady heart. They are always the first to lend a helping hand or share a good laugh when it’s needed most.
Brock
Brock is the true definition of strength, loyalty, and heart. As a proud United States Marine, he carries the values our family was built on — faith, integrity, and love for others. He’s the protector of our family, always watching over us no matter how far away he is. He lives and breathes for the people he loves, and his loyalty runs deep. Even with his service taking him far from home, Brock stays closely connected — always calling, checking in, and keeping us laughing with his quick wit and big heart. You can know him for a lifetime or meet him once, and you’ll know immediately that family means everything to him. His devotion runs deep, and he’ll be the most loyal person you’ll ever meet. To know Brock is to know someone who gives his all — to his country, his family, and everything he believes in. He’s brave, humble, and carries our family’s heart with him wherever he goes.
Carter
Carter, our youngest and the last one still at home, keeps us grounded and always laughing. He’s in high school and has a quiet, easygoing personality that balances his sense of humor perfectly. He’s the kind of kid who goes with the flow, never complains, and can make anyone laugh without even trying. His gentle heart and steady nature bring such calm to our home, while his quick wit keeps us all smiling. He’s everyone’s brother and has a special bond with everyone in his path. Carter is always the first to wish you a happy birthday, to check in, or to make you laugh when you need it most. He’s super close with his brother and cousins — even when miles apart, they stay connected through group calls, Xbox games, and plenty of good-natured smack talk that keeps their bond strong.
our home…
We live in a small town where everyone knows everyone — the kind of place where neighbors wave from their porches, kids still ride bikes down country roads, and life moves at just the right pace. It’s a close-knit community filled with faith, family, and people who genuinely care for one another. The schools here are some of the best in the state, and the friendships we’ve made have become more like family.
Our 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home sits on five peaceful acres surrounded by open fields, big skies, and plenty of room to run and play. We designed and built it ourselves so it fits our family perfectly — a place that feels warm, welcoming, and full of life. It’s where the kitchen smells like something cooking, the porch is where stories are told, and the living room is always filled with laughter. The nursery is setup with a closet filled with everything a baby would need and so much more.
When we’re not working, we love being outdoors or spending time with family and friends. You can usually find us cooking up something in the kitchen, hanging out at the farm, loving on animals, or cheering someone on at a local event. We love hosting so gatherings, dinner nights, holidays and any other reason to have a get together is part of our everyday life.
Our home and community are more than just where we live — they’re the heart of who we are. It’s a place filled with love, faith, and family… the kind of place where a child can grow up surrounded by people who will always be in their corner.
This isn’t just a house — it’s our dream, built from the ground up. Every wall, every room, every corner was built with love. And now, one very special room is waiting for one very special little person.
How can you help?
We’ve always believed it takes a village — and we’re beyond grateful for ours. Adoption is a beautiful journey, but it’s one that takes faith, patience, and the support of those who love us most. Every prayer, message, and share brings us one step closer to the little one meant to be part of our family.
- Pray… Please keep our family, our future child, and their birth family in your prayers. We trust that God’s timing and plan are perfect, even when the path is unknown.
- Share Our Story… The more our story is shared, the greater the chance it reaches the person or family who’s meant to see it. A simple share, post, or mention could truly change everything.
- Sponsor… We’ve poured our hearts, time, and savings into preparing for this journey, but the financial cost of adoption is overwhelming. Between fees, home studies, legal expenses, and travel, the total can exceed $50,000 — far more than we can handle alone. We believe that family isn’t just built by blood, but by love, faith, and community — and we’re trusting that God will make a way. Along with your prayers and support, we’re actively applying for every adoption grant, sponsorship, and assistance program available — even reaching out to employers and community partners who offer adoption benefits or financial support.

letter to birth parent(s)…
Dear Birth Parent,
Thank you for taking a moment to learn about our family. We can’t begin to imagine the emotions you’re feeling, but we want you to know that we see your strength, your bravery, and your heart.
Our journey to adoption comes from a deep desire to share the love that has carried our family through so many seasons of life. We’ve built a home that’s full of laughter, faith, and second chances — a place where children are loved for exactly who they are and supported in every dream they chase.
If you choose us, your child will grow up knowing that they were deeply wanted, prayed for, and loved long before we ever met. They’ll grow up surrounded by a big, close family who will cheer for every milestone and love them without limits. And most importantly, they’ll know that your love was the very first chapter of their story.
We’re honored that you’d even consider us, and we wish you peace and comfort as you make the decision that’s best for you and your baby.
With all our hearts,
Danny & Trisha
